Pancake Day

It’s almost that time of year again, Pancake Day!

Almost every scout has participated in a pancake day before, if you haven’t this is a great time to start. Our charter organization, Kawanis, holds a Pancake Day every year to raise funds for the programs that it provides to youth, both local and abroad.

If you can help that would be amazing, you get free pancakes at the beginning or end of your shift and receive service hours for your help. Jobs usually include waiting tables, cleaning tables or cleaning trays. You can sign up for a variety of times for different amounts of time between 6:30 a.m. and 1 pm.  If you want to help with cleanup you can get there (or stay there until) 1:00.

Also, this year’s pancake day is dedicated to the youth clubs that Kawanis sponsors.  Troop 930 will have a table set up with historical information and details about our future plans.  We will need a couple of scouts to work the table and answer questions that people have about the troop.

I hope you can come help out!
